Frequently Asked Questions

Who can participate in The Hague 2025?

Members of the European Youth Parliament can be part of the conference as 1) delegate/participant or 2) Official/volunteer.

1. participate in the National Selection Conference of the National Committee of the EYP in your country. Selected participants will receive an invitation before February 2025.
2. apply for a position via the Members Platform in response to the open calls in Autumn 2024. Extensive EYP volunteering experience is required!

If you cannot go either of these ways, but strongly believe that you should be part of this event, you can send an email to our Project Manager for Participant Support. Please outline your motivation and expectations for participation in The Hague 2025.

When does The Hague 2025 take place?

For participants, the conference lasts from April 5 to 13, including dedicated days for arrivals and departures. Volunteers are expected to arrive on April 3.

What should I wear at the conference?

The dress code varies per programme element. For Teambuilding and free time activities, you can wear casual clothing (for example jeans and sweater). For Committee Work, Skills Lab and Remembrance Evening, you are expected in Smart Casual (chino trousers and a shirt, or a skirt and a blouse). During the Opening Ceremony and General Assembly the dress code is Formal (pantalon, blazer and shirt, or classy dress and short heels).
