Young Visions of Peace and Security

Team

The Hague 2025 is entirely youth-led, with young volunteers taking care of all organisational aspects.

Management Team

The Core-Organisers take care of logistics, fundraising and event management. All members of the Management Team are experienced alumni of the European Youth Parliament who have each organised several events before. Each manages a portfolio within the event and leads a team of younger Organisers, allowing the next generation of volunteers to learn, receive training, and guidance.

Nathan Zeevenhooven

Project Manager for logistics

Nathan arranges the venues, material transport and schedule for all conference elements

Giulia Heinrich

Project Manager for Participant support

Giulia is the main contact person for all 250 participants, coordinating their arrival and taking care of welfare needs

Joris Dietz

Project Manager for Public Relations

Joris is in charge of the social media channels, website and press, and further collaborates with the Media Team

Eva Wildöer

Project Manager for partnerships

Eva is the main contact person for all supporting organisations, committee experts and ceremony speakers

Carlos Drexhage

Project Manager for food & events

Carlos organises the Eurovillage, Euroconcert and ceremonies, and arranges breakfast and lunch for all days

Lidewij Mes

Project Manager for food & events

Lidewij organises the Embassy visits and other cultural programme elements, and arranges dinner for all days

Nikos-Pavlos Kotzias

Project Manager for finance

Nikos-Pavlos supervises the income and expenses for the event organisation to ensure the project’s financial viability

Academic Team

The members of the Academic Team are the facilitators and peer-to-peer educators. The team consists of a President, two or three Vice-Presidents, and 10-15 Chairpersons. Each Chairperson leads a committee and it is their job to guide the participants through all programme parts to ensure that discussions exploit participants’ full potential. The President and Vice-Presidents are also moderators of the plenary debate.

The Academic Team will be formed by experienced volunteers from the EYP network through an open call.

Media Team

The Media Team is the internal press office of the conference. Under the guidance of two Editors and one to three Editorial Assistants, the Media Team Members will regularly publish pictures, videos and a magazine with pieces related to the discussions. The team’s goals are to leave participants with valuable memories and showcase the event to the external public through our website and social media channels.

The Media Team will be formed by experienced volunteers from the EYP network through an open call. The Media Team Members will be selected in November 2024.

Event Safe Team

Welfare and safety are important values in the European Youth Parliament, and at every conference dedicated volunteers form an Event Safe Team. They serve as confidantes for all participants and volunteers, ensure that all accessbility needs are met and generally guards everyone’s wellbeing throughout the intensive event.
